Come enjoy the many splendors of Kennebunk, ME. Just a block from Gooch's Beach and about a mile to the shops and restaurants of Dock Square, Kennebunkport. This 3+ bedroom house boasts all of the amenities needed for a great vacation. The house offers a recently renovated, open floor plan with tasteful decor. The bright modern kitchen has an island w/ stools plus a dining table and the slider gives access to the screened-in porch where you can enjoy the ocean breeze at the table or sitting area. Also on this floor, there are three good-sized bedrooms. Bedroom One has a charming coastal look with a full-sized bed. Bedroom Two has 2 twin beds and a large closet. Bedroom Three is the Master, with a Queen bed and ensuite bath. Bedroom 4 is downstairs with its sitting area, fireplace, and a Queen bed. The lower level also offers a second kitchen, a full bath, washer/dryer, and access to the back patio and the garage/playroom. This well-landscaped property features a private backyard with a grassy area for yard games, complete with a stone checkers/chessboard, and a beautiful patio that has a gas grill and bar, a large table for outdoor dining, and a wood-fired pizza oven. Gather around the stone fireplace for cozy conversation or to make smores! There is even an outdoor shower where you can rinse off after a day at the beach! The garage offers a ping-pong table and some toys/games as well as beach gear. We will expand these offerings soon! In the meantime, there is plenty to see and do in the area: Visit the Seashore Trolley Museum, St Anthony’s Monastery, or the Bush Compound. Check out kayak rentals, schooner rides, or a lobster boat tour. Take a surfing lesson or simply spend some time watching the many surfers take on the waves at Gooches beach! Mother's Beach w/ playground and KBIA are just down the road and so is the Webhannet Golf Course. Of course, there is a plethora of shops and restaurants in the area and a day at the beach is never complete without a trip to Ben & Jerry's or Rococo for ice cream! Whatever you choose to do.
