Beautiful Log Cabin w/ Jacuzzi and Trout Stream

This Log Cabin has 2 levels. The entry level has a full furnished kitchen, living and dining combined area, gas fireplace, full bath, master bedroom with a master bath with a Jacuzzi tub. It has a ground level back porch with a wooded view, and a bbq charcoal grill. Spacious front porch with a long resort view and wooden rockers. The upstairs loft is spacious and features 2 twin beds and room for an air mattress that is provided. Our Log Cabins are maintained and thoroughly cleaned after each stay and personally inspected prior to new guests arriving. They have recently been updated with new furnishings and mountain decor. There is 600 feet of Reed Island Creek flows through the resort and is a great place to fish, swim, or just relax.. Children will enjoy all the room to run, and there is a small playground from them to enjoy as well. There is also stone outdoor Cooking Grill, picnic tables, and a large fire ring near the creek for our guests to enjoy in the resort common area. The resort property is open to all guests to enjoy but are asked to maintain a 40 feet distance to any cabin you are not staying in. Our goal is to offer our guests an affordable family friendly resort that encourages couples to getaway, families to connect, and friends to grow closer while enjoying one of the most beautiful places in the area. During your stay, should you have any problems, we are only a phone call away. While the property is considered secluded, it is only 1.5 miles from I-77 in Virginia only 8 miles from North Carolina. Best of all, our resort is only 2.5 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. "Black Bear Den" Cabin is only 1/2 hour from one of our nation's most famous small towns, Andy Griffith Mayberry, Mt Airy North Carolina to the south, or go west 1/2 hour to the Capital of the Ole Time Mountain Music, Galax, Virginia. Located farther west is White Top Mountain, the highest point in Virginia, and Stone Mountain State Park. To the north you can visit the historic town of Hillsville, and Foster falls State Park. A little farther north the kids will definitely enjoy the Fort Chiswell Animal Park. Numerous festivals are held nearby including Labor Day Gun Show & Flea Market, BBQ Festival, Galax Fiddlers Convention, and Mayberry Days. We are centrally located only 1 hour from Winston Salem, 2 hours from Charlotte, 1.5 hours from Roanoke. Reed Island Creek can rise fast in heavy rain storms and does go down quickly as well. For your safety, please do not enter the water for 2-4 hours after a storm has passed.
