Relaxing Maine lake house getaway

Spacious year round home on the west shore of one of Maine’s most peaceful lakes. This historic 3 bedroom home is tastefully furnished and features a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, laundry area, dining area, fireplace, living room, 2 full baths, master bedroom with queen sized bed and sitting area, a second bedroom with queen bed, and a 3rd bedroom with twin bunk beds. Along with a private wharf on the lake for you to enjoy. You are welcome to the entire house and property. The floating wharf is perfect for a day in the sun, wifi and cable are useful for rainy days. A large fire pit and large picnic table are perfect for meals and family gatherings. NOTE: At this time we ARE NOT taking bookings from guests that are new to Airbnb and/or do not have any prior reviews. Guests have access to the entire house Owners are fully available for questions about the home, or suggestions of things to do in the area. Privately located in the tranquil Lakewood Community of Madison, Maine. Steps from Wesserunset Lake, an 18 hole golf course, fine dining, live theater, summer hiking trails, winter snow mobile trails, and only 40min to Sugarloaf Ski Resort and less than 2 hours from Bar Harbor / Acadia National Park. We are also only 40min from some great Whitewater Rafting. Only a 15 min drive to local Skowhegan, Maine with restaurants and grocery stores. Make a reservation when you arrive for Lakewood Inn Restaurant (only a 5 min walk from the home) come enjoy the serenity of Lakewood. please ask about dogs in the home. We often do allow dog(s) but make sure to ask before booking.
