Sugar Creek Vacation Retreat offers Vacation Retreat Rooms for relaxing getaways to decompress and get back to 100%. We are minutes from Beaver Lake in GORGEOUS NW Arkansas. Our signature rooms come with a "Welcome Basket" selection of treats. Refrigerated spring water and other items to ensure you have a relaxing and comfortable stay. All signature rooms overlook the Sugar Creek. Most of the Art in the Facility is made by family members or the owner, including some of the quilts. The property is a treed four acre wood with native stone rock bluffs, trails, a spring and a creek and close the Ventris boat launch for a day of kayaking and swimming on the lake, or you can go to Lost Bridge Army-Corps parks Your retreat room is totally unplugged, we chose to forego TVs but WiFi is available if needed. We are minutes from Beaver Lake in GORGEOUS NW Arkansas. The property is a treed four acre wood with native stone rock bluffs, trails, a spring and a creek. We have multiple outdoors spaces including a firepit, a garden area, A garden Bench and picnic table, a place to BBQ, and a covered pavilion with occasional seating. We all enjoy very much interacting with our guests and discussing their plans and previous travels, if they like to share or talk, but will generally let the guest direct this interaction. We are very laid-back and casual hosts. The Ventris boat launch is 4 minutes away for a nice day of kayaking and swimming on the lake, or you can go to Lost Bridge North or South Army-corp of Engineers parks for sightseeing or a nice picnic in about 5 minutes. Indian creek Park is close and has fishing and lake access with permit and day use pass. Pea Ridge National Park, a civil war landmark, is only 2.5 miles away; an amazing park with tour, trails, biking and recreation activities. Additionally we are not far from many other popular attractions including War Eagle and The Hobbs Recreation Area, 20 minutes to Eureka Springs, only 15 minutes from Rogers or downtown Bentonville with the amazing Crystal Bridges Art Museum. We are located 1.2 miles down HWY 127, a spur of HWY 62. There is a large red billboard at our drive, and the drive is located after a sharp 90 degree turn. Ventris road is the very next road After the property and driveway. There is no public transportation in the area; visitors will require transportation, or mountain bike. We do have parking for guests who bring a boat. Currently all rooms are on the second floor and require ability to climb stairs. We do not have a handicap accessible suite at this time but one is planned in a future addition.
