Cottage 1 on Wood Creek Lake near the boat ramp

2 bedroom 1.5 bath cottage on Wood Creek Lake. You have a view of the lake through the trees. There is an eclectic mix of furnishings including new, vintage and antique items a full kitchen with stainless appliance including a d.w., all in a modern comfortable cottage. There is a trail down to the lake to the right of the cottage with space down there to park your trailer if needed and you can see the parking area from the cottage. The boat ramp and dock are just a short walking distance away. Great modern cottage in the woods with 2 other almost identical cottages nearby if you want to make it a family event. There is a coded door lock for easy access. we live less than 10 minutes away as do my children and we carry our cell phone so we are available almost any time. It is a quiet neighborhood with the cottage setting on 10 acres which you can explore. There are two other almost identical cottages near by so that you could have a family gathering with up to 18 people. There is also a small lodge (different owner) nearby which offers the possibility of an even larger gathering of more than 30 people. There is a trail between the lodge and cottages. Winter guests should be aware that we are unable to remove snow from the walks and driveway so you stay at your own risk. Kentucky often has very mild winters so feel free to book your winter getaway with knowledge that if a snow storm is predicted for the area that you may cancel and receive a full refund if you cancel before your check-in date. If you must leave during your stay because of winter weather we will refund the daily rate for any days left in your stay but know that (Hidden by Airbnb) does not refund their fees when there is a partial refund. The property is less than 10 miles from Interstate Highway 75 exit 41. There is parking near the cottage and a space for a boat trailer nearby. (if you are bringing a boat it is best to park the trailer before you go to the cabin because turn around space is limited but ample at the boat parking area. Great place to stay near the lake. If you bring a trailer, don't pull it back to the cottage as turning around is very difficult. There is extra parking on the property. Contact the owner before you arrive for more information.
