The Rutledge House is an historic 2 bedroom bungalow in Trenton, the heart of Florida's natural springs. Newly renovated to reflect its original 1920s charm, it has hardwood floors, bead board ceilings and huge live oak trees that surround this quiet city space. Enjoy the entire home within walking distance to restaurants, stores and the Nature Coast State Trail. The Suwanee River and Gulf of Mexico are a short drive away. Wifi is available via HughesNet. This two bedroom bungalow features a modern kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven and full refrigerator, making it easy to prepare meals. One bedroom has a king bed and dresser. The second bedroom has a queen bed. Both have ample closet space. The newly renovated bath has a tile shower, with bath towels included. Living space has a smart TV and seating for four with lots of daylight, or you can enjoy the quiet neighborhood from the large front porch. Free parking for several vehicles is located right outside the back door. The small town of Trenton offers several restaurants within walking distance as well as a nice grocery store. Your hosts will be just a phone call away, as Trenton is our home town. The keypad will let you enter and leave as you wish. Trenton has several restaurants and a city park. The Nature Coast State Trail is a great place to walk, run or bike. The University of Florida is an easy 30-minute drive. This area is known for its many natural springs and state parks. Ginnie Springs is a quick 17 mile drive. Trenton does not have public transportation, so a vehicle is a must. However, driving along our county roads under live oaks is a pleasure. The city is easy to navigate on foot as well.
