Calm n Quiet
You’re seeking a quiet, secluded space to go off-grid best you can? Here’s your spot! Only 12 miles from a city, but too far for fiber optics, this spot feels isolated yet the privacy-loving neighbors are always listening and watching for signs of trouble. Breezes blow cleanly here. Stars twinkle gently here. Late-night campfires are normal here! Chickens lay eggs all day here... and the rooster crows every morning here! Each bedroom has its own full bathroom with filters on the shower heads. Windows abound, letting in life giving light. Depending on the season, you may want to open windows for fresh air, or you may desire closed windows and HVAC modulated air. You control it! In partnership with Molly Maid, we provide cleaning and sanitization following every guest’s departure so that YOU will rest assured of the healing you receive from your stay in the peaceful countryside! You can spend time in the kitchen, dining room, family room, front screened porch, back deck, back yard (playing music or fire gazing), back forty (behind the fence, hanging out with goats whom I need you to feed/water/pet), chicken yard (feeding/watering/watching the chickens), garden (watering/weeding/whatever feeds your soul), front yard (star gazing or playing croquet), even the garage (cleaning it and organizing it -- LOL). I’m not going to be watching over you... I’m gone all week long... home on weekends... you’re free to do your own laundry, hang out in all living areas, and use kitchen with all its utensils. My only request is that you respect the sanctity of this place given to me by Yahweh and that you honor my desire to keep the entire place free of pornography, fornication and associated activities, Cigarettes and Tobacco products, marijuana and all illegal drugs, as well as pork, pig, swine, bacon, ham, shellfish, catfish, lobster, and any other created beings not meant as food for humans according to Leviticus 11 in Bible. We once were frontier until new Texas government began offering land grants of 320 acres (1 league +1 labor) to people who fought against Mexico in the war for independence... In the case of this neighborhood, the land was granted to the warrior’s widow after the war. His family name was Gaona. Now this neighborhood is called Spanish Grant. You’ll need a car...unless you have an Uber drop you off and then pick you up after your seclusion. There is no wifi here. The only good phone service here is AT&T. I use my AT&T service to provide a hot spot so I can have internet for my computer. There is no television here, no cable tv, no net flix. Only nature, books, and tons of music CDs available to play on my stereo.
