Cozy Mountain Getaway

Cozy up next to the wood burning stove nestled in the woods on a mountain in West Virginia, this house is the perfect spot for those who want to escape to some peace and quiet. Makes the perfect getaway for couples or small groups, or even the solo traveller looking for an inspiring place to get some reading and writing done. The greatest part, however, is the beautiful 10 minute drive to historic and Berkeley Springs full of engaging artisan shops, spas, and great restaurants. All the coziness of a cabin, with all the functionality of a home. This house is defined by all the glass doors that open up on numerous sides to make it feel as though you are right in the middle of the woods. Everything except the basement! We'll have our home ready for you and be easily contactable by phone if you need anything to make your stay wonderful. This home is a part of a larger community of cabins and houses that are within walking distance, but you'll have plenty of privacy and quiet. Please keep outdoor noise to a minimum and respect the 15 mph speed limit on the gravel roads. Easy drive in/drive out, though if it is snowing, you'll want to make sure your vehicle can handle climbs up and down steep hills. Cell service is sketchy and cell data usually does not work but we have WiFi to make up for it. We'll always provide firewood, coffee (with a French press) and tea.
