The perfect place to be in nature but all the comforts of home. We are located in the northern part of the Hudson Valley with an abundance of outdoor activity. The space is perfect for a city get away or even for working remotely. If you love animals and nature, this is the perfect place for you! Right outside your front door is 800 acres of hiking trails. All you hear is nature. This is a fully finished, private area ground-floor walk out, in the basement of the main house. Fernbrook Farm getaway has so much to offer that many guests often choose not to leave the property. There are so many wonderful things this area has to offer from picturesque hiking trails outside your door, fabulous restaurants, historical sites, distilleries, wineries, breweries, and many quaint towns and villages. We are located 25 minutes from Hudson, NY, Catamount Ski resort, Bash Bish Falls, and so much more. The space includes a fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, a coffee maker, and a full pantry. A 55 inch smart TV with many streaming apps such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon prime, and more. High-speed internet, blue tooth speaker, with robes and slippers to use for the hot tub and sauna. A working woodstove with wood provided for the winter months. Hot tub, sauna, pool table, books, magazines, and various card and board games. The animals at the farm love our guests. When you pull up you will be most likely be greeted by Hermione, the official welcome goose, and some of her goat friends. Cooper, our pitty mix loves to greet guests in the driveway and show them their accommodations for their stay. Once in your space, our sweet cat Lil Miss will most likely be waiting to welcome you. The space is a private space below the main house. The only shared space is the outdoor space, like the jacuzzi (when guests use the jacuzzi it is completely private) and trails. Hosts are here to help make your stay wonderful. We offer as much or as little interaction with us as you please. We have had travel nurses, physical therapists, and high voltage line workers, along with guests looking for time away, have stayed in this space and have loved it. This could be a perfect spot for a person or couple to work remotely. The space is all access to guests. We are available anytime. We live in the main house and can help with anything you need. We are remote, but also only a 5 minute drive to a small local grocery store and 25 minutes from Hudson, NY. We are also within 15 min of Massachusetts and Connecticut. A car is a must to be able to get here. The space is fully equipped with anything you could possibly need to have a very comfortable stay. Note that this is a closed off area in the basement of the main house. There is a door that allows Little Miss (one of the cats) to come visit as you please. Or you are welcome to keep the door closed if you’d like. *There is a electric vehicle charging station 2 1/2 miles away.
