Quintessential Northern MN Lake Experience

Beautiful four season cabin on Long Lake in Longville, MN. Cabin sits above the lake in a quiet bay with a mesmerizing, panoramic views of loons and lake life. Cabin is clean, well lit and designed with a sense of bringing the outdoors in, keeping you connected with the abundant nature and lake surrounding you. Cabin is close to town (five minute drive), so you can easily access anything you need then quickly return to this peaceful setting. Upgraded, extremely reliable high speed internet. This one level cabin consists of a great room that has the living, dining and kitchen as well as a sleeping loft which can be accessed by a ladder. Off of the great room are the bedrooms as well as the bathroom. The master bedroom has a lake view and a queen bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds. The sleeping loft has two twin mattresses as well as two twin air mattresses. Lastly, there is a four season porch room with a lake view that has a workspace as well as a full size futon. There is a large deck overlooking the lake that has ample outdoor seating and a propane Weber grill. There is a fire pit just off the deck overlooking the lake. There are approximately 10 steps leading you down to the lake where there is a dock for you to use. There are multiple boat rental services in the area that will deliver a rental boat to the dock for you to use during your stay. If you plan to bring your own boat, there is plenty of parking space for that at the cabin with ample turn around space as well. There is a public boat launch on Long Lake. There are no laundry facilities on site, but there is a well run laundromat in town. You will have the entire cabin and the grounds to yourself to enjoy. You will be able to reach me by phone and we have local contacts who would likely be able to assist if needed. You will love the location of this cabin. It is private, but close to town. We are located at the end of Long Lake, so lake traffic is minimal. We are the second to last cabin on our short spur road so it is rare to have a car go by. There are many opportunities to enjoy nature year round within a short drive of the cabin. Hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, paddling, canoeing, cross country ski trails, ice fishing, snowmobiling, snow shoeing, national forests and state parks are just a few of the ways to immerse in the Northern MN experience. Within an hour drive you can access Itasca State Park, the Paul Bunyan Trail, Shing-o-bee Recreation Area, Crosby Cuyuna recreation area, Tioga trails and recreation area in Grand Rapids, canoe the Boy River, fish remote lakes, do some great gravel bicycle rides on the fire roads, visit, hike or ski at Deep Portage nature center, access the North Country trail, the list goes on and on. We are happy to offer advice and suggestions on these activities. We do allow well behaved dogs at the cabin, but ask that they do not go on furniture or beds and that any pet waste in our yard is removed. Cabin has upgraded high speed internet that is extremely reliable and allows for 3-5 devices to be streaming at one time. Perfect work from home or distance learning option.
