The Goodie Box - Views, Vines and Beauty!

"The Goodie Box", a stone structure about 200 years old, has been completely renovated, with new kitchen, new bath, hot water on demand and Blue Ridge Mountain Views. One mile from Rt 250 which provides easy access to Charlottesville (20 minutes), Staunton (20 mins), and 5 minutes to the Blue Ridge Pkwy and the Skyline Drive. One mile to The Nelson 151 Trail with wineries, cideries, distilleries and breweries all along scenic Route 151 plus easy access to many Monticello Wine Trail vineyards. "The Goodie Box" is just that! Cozy, inviting and a fantastic location to get to all Central VA attractions. **Please note-- the structure is more than 200 yrs old, and while there is a fireplace, the flue has not been deemed safe to use. We can provide a fire pit for guests who are interested! One thing to note -- WE HAVE DOGS!! We have 4 vizlsas - they are incredibly friendly -- sometimes too friendly:) but we do our best to make sure they stay out of your way. If you have any allergies or reservations about dogs -- our property might not be the best choice. We generally aren't far away and will be in the main house on the property. A short distance from the cottage, if you need anything during your stay, we are happy to help however we can - restaurants, winery's -- we are members of quite a few so we are always happy to share!! We live on a historic road -- our home is on the Greenwood Historic register. We are only minutes from downtown Crozet, Chiles Orchard, Mint Springs Park, Old Trail golf course, and the Rt. 151 scenic byway. By car we are 20 minutes from UVA; 25 minutes from downtown Charlottesville, Monticello, 5 minutes to the Skyline Drive; and 20 minutes from Staunton and Wintergreen Resort. We are in rural setting - however we are about one mile from RT 151. Most have cars but some used Uber or bikes.
