Wind in the Willows - Will Davies Room

The Wind in the Willows Overnight Accommodations is close to Nature, Hunting, Fishing, Baseball Hall of Fame, Albany, Antiques. You’ll love my place because of the rural setting, comfy room, the neighborhood, the coziness, country getaway, small village. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. This Wind in the Willows space, guests will stay in the "Will Davies Suite" decorated with original artwork by Canadian Illustrator, Will Davies. Davies was the top Canadian Illustrator for 50 years. His artwork was featured on Harlequin romance novels, TV Guide, Canadian stamps and much more. This room has a king size bed; cable tv; coffee maker and private bath. Wind in the Willows is located on four acres with gardens and a nature trail to beaver pond and creek. We have an inviting front porch to sit and relax on. We highly recommend 'The Breakfast Club' for a wonderful breakfast experience, just a minute walk down the road. Also, Buck Hill Farms is open for breakfast (Sunday mornings only) served with their own wonderful maple syrup. Enjoy our seasonal local farmers market in the center of town, open 9 am 'till noon with many farm to table items; local plants and assorted handmade items. Owners Bob and Lesley Kendall will be available to serve the needs of our guests. We enjoy meeting our guests, however when we are unable to do so , we will communicate, in advance, to our guests and give them directions to their rooms/keys. Located in the rural village of Jefferson, NY. Nearby dairy farms and natural forests in the foothills of the Catskill mountains creates the perfect setting for relaxation and recovery. Wind in the Willows is located an hour from Albany; about 4 hours from NYC; 18 minutes from NY Safety Track; 14 miles from Minekill State Park; 8 minutes from Blenheim Hill Farm; 8 miles from the village of Stamford where grocery store, restaurants, and other stores. The area is great for antique hunting. The city of Oneonta, is located 25 minutes away and has larger stores and restaurants including a mall and Walmart.
