Fab Loft - Dog Friendly!
This stunning upstairs loft showcases unique contemporary art, granting a couple a relaxing, upscale getaway. The pet-friendly, renovated 1860s loft features brick walls, a wood floor and a well-appointed modern kitchen. Located at the edge of Paducah's famous Lower Town Arts District and near the world-famous National Quilt Museum and downtown's numerous restaurants, the loft provides guests easy access to the city's many charms, including the Ohio River and the impressive flood-wall murals. Featuring a sitting room, living room, dining room and kitchen in an open floorplan, the loft has a private bedroom and a bathroom with a large shower. Paducah's newest gathering place, the converted Coke plant in Midtown featuring craft beer, pizza, yoga and one-of-a-kind gifts, is only a short drive from this apartment. Guests are free to use the kitchen, laundry, tv and internet. Jeff and I are available to help in anyway we can. We are usually nearby and can always be reached by text. We are sensitive to our guests' privacy but also enjoy talking with travelers. We have had great fireside visits and have been invited to activities. But we allow our guests to choose how much interaction feels right to them. Our loft is located between industrial and residential properties. A train passes down and back twice a day. Downtown Paducah, with its restaurants, art galleries, museums and cultural venues, including theater options and the historic Maiden Alley Cinema, are an easy walk away. We are at 10th street and Jefferson, the nicest boulevard in Paducah. French Town Station, an adorable antique and gift shop, sits across the street. An auction is held nearby every Saturday night. We have plenty of parking, and the walk to downtown is an easy one. Paducah has a wonderful Greenway Trail for walking and biking without traffic. If you like road biking, there are marked routes and group rides available — 22-25-40+ miles. Bike World is a great place for information. For mountain biking — Land Between the Lakes has some great trails. Getting anywhere in Paducah, including the mall, Midtown, Lower Town and Downtown by car is easy. Our two boxers usually live with us in the loft, but the four of us will stay nearby during the length of our guests' time in Paducah. We will keep our dogs away from yours, but if your dogs want to play with ours, who are we to stand in the way of canine happiness?
