Enjoy the comforts of a true farmhouse set on 5 private acres in the Hudson Valley! Newly renovated, the owners have preserved much of the original charm of this 5 bedroom home with heated in-ground pool, tennis court, fire pit, grill; only minutes away from wineries, breweries,restaurants and activites for all members of your group or family. Close to the Shawangunk wine trail, hiking Minnewaska State Preserve, biking, and LegoLand only 10 minutes away! So much to see and do! Expect quiet comforts, complimentary coffee, tea, & snacks, in a solitary setting. Our 5 bedroom renovated farmhouse sits on 5 acres with a beautiful vista of a meadow where you may see deer in the evenings grazing. A vehicle is advised to get around unless you prefer to enjoy your private oasis for the length of your stay. Bus and train stations are within 10 minutes from the house. We have instituted a rigorous cleaning routine in compliance with Covid guidelines. Individual pet requests are considered, and if approved carry an extra fee of $25 per day (waived for service animals)and compensation for any damages to the house or property. Once you have let yourselves in using a code (4 digit of your choice) you will enjoy all the comforts of home +. In addition to the house, guests have access to the pool and pool house (in season), the tennis court, fire pit, and 5 acres of property which is exclusively yours to enjoy. Please take note of the Do Not Trespass signs posted. The smaller house (white with green shutters) and the 4 bay garage are off limits. Although we would love to meet you, during these times we respect your complete privacy. We are only a 1/2 mile from the house and are able to help with any of your needs during your stay. During the summer, expect us to check the pool equipment daily between 7 and 9am. There may be times we will have to add chemicals to the pool water, which may delay your ability to use the pool for a time. In these cases you will be notified as soon as possible as to when you can enter the pool. There may also be times that automatic oil and propane deliveries will need to be made during your stay. These should not in any way disrupt you. Our location is central to many hot spots in the Hudson Valley. We are only 10 minutes from Lego Land, 1/2 hour from West Point to the east, and 30 minutes from Bethel Woods (Woodstock) and Resort World Casino to the west. Sams Point (hiking) is an easy 15 minute drive and provides gorgeous views. For shoppers, we are 20 minutes from Woodbury Commons. We are 10 minutes from the Shawangunk Wine Trail, with Angry Orchard only 15 minutes away as well as many breweries around town. We are on a local bike trail, and the Heritage Trail is close by. There are favorite restaurants only 5 minutes from the house, as well as pharmacies, movie theaters, shopping, grocery, wine, and liquor stores nearby. Our guidebook has a lot of information, so be sure to check it out. From the train station or bus station in Middletown you can be in New York City in 90 minutes. We are in the beautiful Hudson Valley so there are lots of things to do and see within short distances, including wineries, breweries, hiking, shopping, and more. Lego Land is only 10 minutes away, and major highways, i.e., Route 17/86 and Route 17K are only a few minutes from Priscilla's. There are taxis if necessary and GrubHub if you’d rather not drive, and of course a new kitchen if you’re prone to cooking and staying put. So many options! Yoga classes by Susan, physical therapist and certified yoga instructor, and massage appointments by Kristen can be made ahead of time.
