We are open! Visit (Website hidden by Airbnb) and insta majesticfarmheritage to get a sense of the grounds. You can also purchase wood, meats and so on. Beautiful site overlooks orchard. There are huge boulders to sit and climb on. There is one full size bed in the house. There is a picnic table and a camp fire pit. There is a shared kitchen and outhouse. FALL/WINTER advisory - the water features are generally turned off from November - March. There is no heat or electric in the house. Don't forget to note you are at "ROCKY BOULDER" as we have a couple sites and you'll be looking for signs to your spot. Check the photos out for a map of the property. There is a full size mattress and some seating in the house. There is a picnic table and camp fire pit with cooking grate to cook and enjoy. About an 5 minute walk (you'll pass on your way to the site) there is a private shared outdoor shower, outhouse, wash sink, outdoor kitchen, with potable water and spot you can plug in to charge near the farm house. This is an active farm - so you can enjoy spending time among the orchard trees and observing the chickens and pigs. This site includes a tiny house, fire pit and picnic table. Please bring your own bedding, there is a full size mattress in the house. Also welcome to pitch a tent to accommodate extra guests. There is wifi at the shared kitchen and some around the camp site. There is a wood cubby where you can purchase wood - bring cash or Ven. It is deeply wooded, so you can also forage for wood all around. There is a shared kitchen with fridge, range and sink (please bring all your own cook and dining wear) or you can keep it rustic and cook with a grate we have provided for your private fire pit. You would bring all your own tent gear and cooking items. There is a grate to put over the fire for cooking. Weather advisory - if it is below freezing - the water features won’t be running. This is a very woodsy site. You will experience sounds, sites and happenings including animals such as deer, bald eagles, turtles, porcupines, beavers, chipmunks, squirrels, frogs, toads, snakes and more. This area does also have bears & coyotes. We advise not to leave food out at night. There are many insects around and about, so if you don't want their company - bring bug sprays! Bring lanterns/flashlight or even battery operated party lights for fun (and so you can see). As we are an active farm you will likely hear rooster crow, a tractor hum, geese and ducks and pigs as you explore the property. Sometimes during the day we do run the tractor to mow or spray the orchard (organic actually involves lots of spraying of clay, nee and natural products to protect the apples). In October the Orchard is open for apple picking during the day, so there are others on the farm during daytime hours. Please carry out what you carry in and leave it clean for the next group. There is an area to leave your trash on the top of the road as you're leaving the farm. We deep clean and sanitize between all visitors - and are currently keeping quite a distance to protect you, the site and everybody involved. Our pigs pasture nearby the site, so you might glance some large and small pigs roaming about near the rocks. You can step over the ELECTRIC fence (just don't touch it) to get a closer look and spend some time with the pigs. They sometimes do get noisy - so don't be alarmed as they root around the 6 acre field). Guests have exclusive access to the tiny house. You also can enjoy walking in the orchard and down the road that leads to the farm house. In addition there is an outdoor shower, an outhouse and a wash sink you can utilize. The shared kitchen is also open for your use. Please keep clean for your fellow campers and bring all your own cookware and dishware. FALL/WINTER advisory - if it is below freezing - the water features won’t be running. We are always around the farm and our house if you need us, but will stay well out of your way so you can enjoy the open space and woods around. The property is a 5 minute drive to the hamlet of Mountaindale, @ visitmountaindale, which has a lovely Rail Trail for hikes and bikes, and some excellent dining options including @ highvoltagecatskills, a cafe bar that serves delicious modern Polish American comfort food, great cocktails, @ Baandme, A Vietnamese Restaurant, @ thedaleNY a pizza restaurant and bar ran by Wayside Cider. Forage & Gather is open most days and has light snacks, basic goods, organic items, breakfast and lunch options in addition to a bookstore and wine and spirits shop. It is a must visit! You can also purchase majesticfarm products there. For shopping you can also stop by @ ambikaboutique and get some hand crochet bikinis or angora hats and vintage clothing. Also @ statelandsupplyco for vintage dry goods, army surplus and antiques. There is a sound bath and spiritual center with some incredible local artisan items for sale @ yinspiritualcenter . Check out a full herbal apothecary @ witcheyhandmade, along with a few local art galleries, a coffee shop and so much more! Once you make it to Majestic Road, go about 3/4 mile and you'll see the Majestic Farm Sign/Silo's. You'll see a pull up to the grey barn with the glass red door (where you'd pick up meats and goods if you ordered some), pass that entrance and turn right after the big rock and trees immediately following where it says "ENTRANCE". and drive down the hill to pass our house on the right. Then you’ll continue to the yard, pass the sink/bathroom/shower and continue to an open dirt parking area. From there you can park in the general area, or continue and turn right BEFORE the orchard - it's a bumpy path that heads upwards to the boulders at your site. SO BEFORE you pass the orchard turn right to drive on the grass/dirt road along the orchard (which is now on your left as you drive) - you'll come to a little hill where you can drive up and see the A - Frame house as you come up the hill. You are looking for ROCKY BOULDER Tiny House. You can purchase fire wood near the parking area. Please bring cash to utilize our contact-free wood service. We also have meats, apples (seasonally) and a tandem bike -$15 for rent. Just message us for details! Can leave cash in house or pay with Ven. If you plan to use the shared kitchen (or cook yourself over your fire) please bring any cooking and dishware. There are many insect around and about, if you do not want their company we suggest bug spray and barriers. As we are an active farm you will likely hear rooster crow, a tractor hum, geese and ducks and pigs as you explore the property. Sometimes during the day we do run the tractor to mow or spray the orchard (organic actually involves lots of spraying of clay, nee and natural products to protect the apples). Please clean and carry out what you carry in and leave it clean for the next group. We clean between all visitors - and are currently keeping quite a distance to protect you, the site and everybody involved and appreciate your efforts to keep the shared spaces fresh for each guest. PLEASE NOTE: Our Organic u-Pick Orchard is open from around mid-August through October. Only during this time, the orchard is open to ticket holders, so there are folks from the community picking apples on Saturday/Sundays during day hours (10a-4p) in the orchard. Your site is private, but it is next to the orchard so you'd be sharing shared spaces with u-pickers during open hours. During the week the orchard is closed to the community - so if you are camping weeknights you get to private pick! We provide a free bag of apples to all campers when the apples are ripe, and you are welcome to walk the orchard and eat apples during your stay.
