Quiet family neighborhood, situated between two charming towns. North Salem with its wide open views, orchards and restaurants is 5 minutes away. Somers is a great little town with more great restaurants....less than 5 minutes away. Perfect for families. Teach kids to ride on the flat country road and driveway. Swim at the beach on a small private lake with a dock, canoe, kayaks and rowboat.. A propane grill under a covered deck.. lots of spaces inside or out for group or private moments... So much to do around here. Social distancing is easy with all the great outdoor areas! Guests staying 21 days or longer must sign a lease and will have to pay for utilities. The home is located in the North Salem School District. Everything but the locked closets, the basement, and the garage. We live nearby and will stay out of your way, but are always happy to be contacted by phone or text. We do love to give advice about the great restaurants, charming towns and numerous outdoor places to go in the area. Check out these great local restaurants: Purdy's Farmer and the Fish, 121, Hayfields, and Primavera Restaurant and Bar. Il Forno serves great italian food and is a 3-minute drive. Outhouse Orchards nearby has so much to do. Apple picking, peach picking, hayrides, warm donuts, and a corn maze in the fall. The views are amazing. Harvest Moon has an outdoor cidery, tasty food trucks and seasonal weekend entertainment. Old Salem Farm is home to the prestigious Gold Cup. The equestrian facility is world renowned. In fact, Horseback riding lessons are available in multiple stables in the area. Hiking trails are plentiful in the area as are golf courses. There's a bird sanctuary and even a zoo-like conservation center for wolves. 4 Minutes to the Croton Falls Metro North Train Station. Express trains from nearby Goldens Bridge 55 minutes to Grand Central.
