The Hideaway

The Hideway is located on a 2 acre private treed acreage between the towns of Shawnigan Lake and Cobble Hill. This bachelor suite with key pad entry is newly constructed with all new furnishings and appliances with a full kitchen and new bathroom with a shower to meet your needs during your stay. You can enjoy two decks that offer quiet privacy and views of our trees and surrounding landscape. We are situated in a location that offers easy access to southern Vancouver Island and its amenities. This space offers a quiet space in the beautiful Cobble Hill Shawnigan Lake area with outside decks to enjoy fresh air and a variety of local trees, plant and bird life. The furnishings and space are new as of 2020. There is absolutely no smoking allowed in the unit or on the property Studio, decks and parking area- space to sit outside. If something comes up you can text us at the number I will provide once your reservation is confirmed. We also have a back-up person in case we are away. The Cobble Hill/Shawnigan area has a number of amenities such as shopping, restaurants and wineries. The lake has beaches and the ocean is also close by via Mill Bay or Cowichan Bay. Hiking is a great way to see the amazing views of the valley and of course there are many other local adventures to be had. There are bus stops nearby on the main rd for BC Transit and local taxi through Cobble Taxi service. The closest ferry terminal at Mill Bay will provide guests with an alternate enjoyable means to get to the airport or Victoria. Both Nanaimo and Victoria are within an hour of The Hideaway.
