This old house was built in 1906 and has been allowed to retain most of its original charm. It has been a sanctuary for many souls and I take my responsibility to continue and maintain that feeling and this structure seriously. It is not modern but it meets our basic needs. This beautiful victorian home is separated into two units. The main house is locked off so there will be no confusion. You have your own entry way door, lobby space, and own stairwell into your side of the house. The outside is just as nice as the inside. Great place to relax before heading out on your next adventure. Boat landing within walking distance if you have kayaks or canoes to put in the water! This neighborhood is very quiet and friendly. You are right next door to Blanchard Park, which has a fully equipped playground, tables, grills, volleyball, tennis and basketball court, as well as a skating rink in the winter time. You are within walking distance from Flagstaff Lake, where you can enjoy boating, paddle boarding, kayaking or canoeing. You are located right in the heart of Stratton, ME. You are a 5 minute (or less) walk to the post office, grocery store, bars and restaurants. You could enjoy your whole stay while leaving your vehicle parked in the drive-way! This house is divided into two shares with you having the whole top floor. This house is properly secured and you have your own privacy with your own private entrance.
