Towne Cove Camp is a lakeside retreat well equipped for a comfortable stay. Cabin style interior with eclectic/modern comforts and fresh linens will make it hard to leave. This space is easy to love- simple, clean cozy and picturesque. The sun porch is a spectacular evening retreat where you will hear loons in the summer and ice 'talking' in the winter or just watch the moon rise. Water lily flowers are just off the shore. The yard is spacious enough for tossing a football but cozy for sitting around the campfire. Trees around the cottage offer shade and comfortable temperatures for outdoor living. New in 2021 faster Internet and updated drinking water system complete the picture!! Private dock We are happy to answer questions via text message before, or during your stay! During the summer, swim from the dock, hike on local Appalachian Trail, or sink into a good book at this ideal getaway. In the Winter, snowmobile, ice skate or cross-country ski all right from your door! Walk on the quiet dirt road or stroll in town Monson to check out art galleries. Moosehead Lake and nearby Greenville offer grocery, restaurants and gift shops. Towne Cove Camp is a 1920’s cottage, guests should expect a few quirks-such as a fairly steep and narrow staircase. Also, the cooking range and oven is lit manually.
