Guest House at the Marina

This beautiful apartment is on the second floor with a desirable view of the Indian River and tidal marshes. We are within walking distance of the Clinton train station, Cedar Island Marina and several restaurants. We are a 30 minute drive from Yale, a 45 minute drive from the casinos and two lovely, well-known spas (Water's Edge and Saybrook Point) are a short 15-20 minute drive away. This is the perfect place for a romantic weekend, a girl's weekend or a college visit. Our apartment is located within a small, friendly, mom and pop marina in a beautiful residential area. Come enjoy! The living area of this apartment is 600 sq feet, with a large deck providing amazing views, perfect for dining and relaxing. The space has been completely renovated (2018), and is bright, airy and clean. You will find a fully stocked kitchen with new appliances (including a dishwasher!), and a new bathroom with a tub. Custom made countertops and furniture by the owner completes the space. There is one bedroom with a queen size bed as well as a new queen size sleeper sofa. Linens and towels will be provided. There are two parking spaces available for your use. Please note that you must be able to navigate a full flight of stairs to access the space. WiFi is available. A maximum of two adults (2). The neighborhood has sidewalks for easy, safe walking to many restaurants, the town marina, or just an evening stroll. Hammonasset State Park is a 10 minute drive. (Complimentary use of 2 kayaks or paddleboards from Memorial Day to Labor Day only. Weather permitting.) We live on the property in a separate detached house, so we are available to provide suggested activities, answer any questions or address any needs that may arise during your stay. We run a busy kayak and paddleboard rental business from Memorial Day to Labor Day. There is a lot of activity, especially on the weekends. During the off season, this is a peaceful, relaxing retreat for a weekend away or a longer stay. During the months of June, July and August, there is a 4 night minimum.
