The McCord Carriage House is located in the heart of Springfield, KY. It is a beautifully restored carriage styled house with history dating back to 1902. Originally built by William Caldwell McCord to compliment his home and law office. For decades it has been an overnight rest stop and retreat for travelers and guests. With respect to its past the Carriage House has been carefully restored by its present owners. The Carriage House is located near several distilleries such as Maker's Mark, Heaven Hill, Jim Beam, Wild Turkey and many others. The home is also near the Perryville Battlefield, My Old Kentucky Home, and Lincoln Birthplace. The town also features multiple golf courses and several restaurants.
