Country solitude!

My space can accommodate up to 4 guests if booking both bedrooms. Price per night for 1 room (2 guests) and additional $25 per guest per night for 2nd bedroom. I offer a calm relaxing space 1 block off the Delaware river on the NY border. There is great trails and outdoor area on property to relax by the fire pit and pond. The area offers hiking , bicycle rentals, rafting/kayaking down the beautiful Delaware River, and skiing in the winter months. A short walk from the train station. Private bathroom is fully stocked with towels and toiletries for your stay. Please leave used towels and sheets in laundry bins in room or bathroom. Roku TV in room with hi speed internet for your enjoyment. Weber gas grill, fire pit, and lounge area out back for use in warmer months. Home is shared with host, 2 cats, and 1 small dog. Note that cats will have access to all shared spaces but not the guests rooms. A small dog only may be welcome with notice first. No cats will be allowed. There are steps down to the river to do some morning eagle watching or evening sun gazing just 1/2 block away ( between Avenue C and Avenue D) on Delaware Drive. This is not part of my property but can be used by anyone at their own risk . Be careful always, as steps are steep. My home is close to the Appalachian Trail and I welcome the hikers to share their stores with me. I offer as much privacy as you need, but should you have any questions, need recommendations, or concerns you may contact via cell phone. I will be available most times for check in for introduction to the space and check out. If I am not here for check in, instruction will be sent privately on how to access the home. A quiet charming town within walking distance to the Watershed Trails in Port Jervis NY. There’s a rock in Tri-States ( in the Laurel Grove Cemeteries ) where you can stand on all three states , NY, NJ, and PA, at once! The famous Hawk’s Nest on Route 97 on the New York side of the river is just a 10 minute drive away.The Bashakill is a preserve known for great fishing , kayaking, and bird watching under 30 minutes away in Westbrookville, NY. The Bashakill Winery is also there. Local brewery is Log Tavern Brewery in Milford, PA just a 12 minute drive away and sits above the Sawkill Creek with outdoor fire pit and seating. Public transportation is local taxis, but most destinations are within a short walk. The Metro North train departs and arrives regularly in Port Jervis Station just. a short walk from my home. Take a day trip to The Big Apple or historic Beacon! Bicycle rentals are available daily at Action Bikes and Outdoors on Front Street in Port Jervis NY. A space will be set up in your room with items you might need to enjoy your stay . Coffee pods, organic tea, filtered and bottled fresh water, and healthy snacks. Toilet paper, paper towels, body wash & lotion and fresh towels will also be provided in bathroom. Initial towels will be provided in bedroom. If fire pit will be used, please let me know . If second guest room is needed for more than the 2 original guests, charge will be an additional $25 per person per night, plus $30 cleaning fee. Total guest accommodation is 4 people. If both rooms are booked by you- the bathroom will be shared by all parties.
