Old Village - Beautiful Coastal House

Centrally located just minutes away from historic downtown Charleston and Charleston's beautiful beaches. This renovated coastal house consists of 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths with open floor plan and beach chic decor. There is a great outdoor space and the proximity to great views, activities and restaurants makes this the perfect home base for all Charleston has to offer. Walk less than 1 mile to the Old Pitt Street Bridge to fish, crab and enjoy beautiful sunsets over the Charleston Harbor and the spectacular new cable bridge. -Beaches on Sullivan's Island (5 minutes) -Historic Charleston- wonderful restaurants, clubs, walking tours, horse drawn carriages, tours of historic homes, Aquarium (10 minutes) -Patriots Point Naval Museum with WII Aircraft Carrier USS Yorktown (7 minutes) -Boone Hall Plantation- Where Parts of 'Gone With The Wind' and 'North and South' were filmed. This is a working plantation (15 minutes) -CSS Hunley- Recently raised civil war submarine. (25 minutes) -Shem Creek- Restaurants and offshore fishing boats and sport fishing charter boats (5 minutes) -Palmetto Islands County Park- picnicking, hiking, wildlife and waterpark.(15 minutes) We offer 2 bikes for your use and also a golf cart with an additional fee if needed. RENTAL RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. CHECK-IN TIME IS AFTER 4 P.M. AND CHECK-OUT IS 10 A.M. 2. This is a NON SMOKING unit. 3. Pets are not permitted in rental units. 4. We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 30 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent. 5. DAMAGE/RESERVATION DEPOSIT- A security deposit of $1500 or optional security insurance is required. This must be received within seven (7) days of booking the reservation. The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within (7) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met. a. No damage is done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear. b. No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay. c. All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in dumpster, and soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned. All linens used placed in laundry room. d. All keys are left on the kitchen table. e. All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure. f. No linens are lost or damaged. g. The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner) local law enforcement. 1. PAYMENT - See VRBO policy. 2. CANCELLATIONS - See VRBO policy 3. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum number of guests per condominium is three (3) adults. Strictly enforced. THIS PROPERTY REQUIRES A TWENTY (20) NIGHT MINIMUM STAY. 4. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods. 5. INCLUSIVE FEES - Rates include a one-time linen-towel setup. 6. WEEKLY MAID SERVICE - Weekly cleaning service will be included in stay. 7. RATE CHANGES - Rates subject to change without notice. 8. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS - Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in. 9. WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS - Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance. 10.HURRICANE OR STORM POLICY - No refunds will be given unless: a. The National Weather Service orders mandatory evacuation in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or b. A "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest. The day that the National Weather Service orders a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, we will refund: a. Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered, b. Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten their stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and c. Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period.
