New Harmony Cottage ~ Bright & Airy Vintage Cozy

Open concept cottage w lots of space for one or two located in the Historic District of New Harmony. Free street parking, a sitting area and comfortable queen bed. Newly renovated last year, we added a Washer/Dryer and a small kitchenette (no stove or cooktop.) WiFi and and a Smart TV for your convenience. Bring your Netflix or Hulu passwords. Be our guest in your own space. Easy no contact checkin & checkout. Coffee/Tea bar or Black Lodge Coffee is a across the street 1/2 block away. Decorated with local New Harmony Art and Antiques from our collection & from shops around town. A cozy reading corner, books & a few board games for you to enjoy. Freshly laundered bedding on your bed w soft sheets ready for a restful nights sleep. A kitchenette with small refrigerator/freezer, microwave & sink. No stove or cooktop. A coffee & tea bar w healthy snacks. Vintage was meant to be shared & we hope you love our sweet curated space. Enjoy the beauty of New Harmony and our cottage that is located within walking distance of most everything New Harmony has to offer! Park out front & you don’t have to get back in your car until it’s time to check out. Barn Patio is right out the back door of the cottage. We normally water our garden & the plants out front before dark. You are welcome to use the outdoor space or the barn patio. We are available and live right next door to the cottage. On most weekends (Until Dec 31st) you can visit our antique shop Firehouse Antiques, 608 S Main Street 10-5 or 12-4. If you are here during the week, feel free to message us and we can open up for you. In a normal time, we would introduce ourselves, but these days we keep our distance to protect us both. Black Lodge Coffee is close by. You are only blocks away from all New Harmony’s restaurants & shops! New Harmony Golf Carts also for rent a few blocks away & at the Atheneum Visitor’s Center. New Harmony is a small town and most businesses are open throughout the week & weekend. All are open Fridays & Saturdays. Sundays shops open around 12-4. Please note: Some restaurants, shops & art galleries have limited hours right now. Best days to visit for all our restaurants, shopping/art is Thurs- Saturday. Please visit (Website hidden by Airbnb) for current business hours. Plan accordingly. Sunday evening you will want to plan ahead for your evening meal. The Old Mill Mart has sandwiches, pizza, and grocery items including fresh produce. Restaurants in town are closed. See our guidebook for Sunday evening restaurant choices & locations. By Car: Enter New Harmony from Hwy 69 to 66 which turns into Church Street. Turn right on Brewery Street, Street parking in front of cottage. By Plane: Evansville, Indiana is the closest airport besides St. Louis & Louisville (2+ hours away) You will need to rent a car if you come from the airport. New Harmony is 26 miles west of Evansville, IN, exit 4 on I-64. In town we recommend renting a golf cart at least a few hours a day. There’s nothing like see the beauty of our sweet historic town. You can find a golf cart to rent at the Atheneum/Visitor’s Center (March-December) or the New Harmony Inn entry house. One step up in front & back! Enjoy our barn porch out back! Located near the post office so mail trucks do come & go a few times a day. Any questions, please ask. Smart tv will require you to sign in to your accounts, have your Netflix & Hulu passwords when you come. There are a few free channels & movies. A fan is located inside the kitchen cabinet so you don’t have to bring one. We have a phone charger, alarm clock, bowls, cups, glasses, plates, knives, forks & spoons. Even a microwave container to heat up anything you bring or leftovers from our local restaurants. An umbrella is located in the laundry area. Blow Dryer & first aid kit under the bathroom sink. An extra blanket on the love seat. Local handmade soap from New Harmony Soap Co on Main Street. Shampoo, Conditioner, makeup wipes & more on the bathroom shelf.
