Enjoy lounging in one of our sitting areas, gardens, library, or; if weather permits, on one of four covered porches or the large garden deck. Walk to dinner at one of the many eateries in the historic town, take in a movie, or the farmer's market, artists exhibits, shopping,or the historical museum. For a relaxing change, take one of our picnic baskets to Lake Champlain (less than 5 minutes) in warmer temps, or haul your snowmobile to the trails, just take a hike, or snowshoe/cross country ski the rail trail in colder temps. Collins-Perley sports complex is just around the corner. Hard'ack recreational area is just a walk up the road. Two wonderful coffee shops are walking distance and feature great baked goods, as well as lunch. Saint Albans is the official home of the Vermont Maple Festival, and very close to Montreal and Quebec attractions. Local Amtrak station within walking distance. Lakes to Locks passage/trail. 20 minutes to Burlington International Airport.
