Mohican River Retreat House

Our warm and welcoming Mohican River Retreat House is located on Wally Road Scenic Byway which runs along the Mohican River. The house was newly constructed in 2018 with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, a large Great-room including kitchen, dining and living area with sleeper sofa. The home accommodates up to 8 guests. There is a large front porch overlooking the river and a spacious and relaxing rear deck with a gas grill. A fire ring is located at the rear of the property. Entrance into the house is by a keyless entry. A six digit code will be assigned a few days before your stay begins. The bathrooms are fully stocked with towels, toilet paper, soaps and shampoo. Pillows, sheets and blankets are provided. The kitchen is complete with dishes, utensils, glassware, pans, dishwasher, electric stove, refrigerator and coffee maker. Basic cooking supplies and condiments available. Propane for grill is provided. A temporary wheelchair ramp is available if needed. The property is 1.5 acres in size. The area up the hill can be used by guests. This area is about 100 ft wide and 300 ft deep. A ravine runs back from the fire ring area. We are available by phone if there are any questions or concerns. Our Retreat house is close to several canoe liveries including River Run and Mohican adventure, Mohican state park, hiking trails, horseback riding, zip-lining, Landoll’s castle, and Malabar Farm. We are approximately 4 miles south of Loudonville, 22 miles west of Millersburg, 28 miles west of Berlin, 28 miles East of Mansfield and 22 miles south of Ashland, 24 miles southwest of Wooster. Great shopping in all these cities and towns. For winter activities, Snow Trails of Mansfield is located 29 minutes from our location. Getting around the area requires an automobile. Our parking area will accommodate up to 4 automobiles safely. All taxes are included in our listed price. We also require a signed lease agreement before occupancy. This is a rural area along the river where internet service is provided by Viasat satellite service. Fluctuations in service can occur. An additional fee of $60.00 is added by Airbnb for the purpose of a cleaning fee. This will be reflected in your Airbnb charges.
