1-bedroom newly-renovated apartment located in a 5-unit apartment building near downtown Chestertown, MD. Unit 1 is located two blocks from High Street (think Evergrain Bakery!) and about four blocks from the Chester River. Enjoy a shared front porch with the other long-term tenants, or use the private back porch to sit and read the newspaper or enjoy the outside. The apartment (Unit 1) is located on ground floor of the building on the right side. The living room/kitchen includes a washer/dryer combo, very small dishwasher, small electric stove, and a full-size refrigerator with icemaker. We have a small table good enough for two, and Internet-enabled television. The bedroom include a Queen-size bed, closet, and another door leading to the back porch for your use. The bathroom includes a shower (no tub). Heating is through baseboard heaters and air conditioning is through 1 window-unit located in the bedroom. There is absolutely NO smoking on the property: not in the apartment, not on the front porch, not on the back porch, not in the front yard, not in the back yard. The property is completely non-smoking for all visitors and guests. We have wireless Internet as well as streaming Netflix, Amazon Prime Streaming, Discovery+, Disney+, Netflix, Paramount+, and Roku. There is no cable television and local television stations are not available. You have access to the apartment; you can also use the back porch; you can also use the back yard (shared use with the other tenants); you can also use the front porch (shared use with the other tenants). This is our vacation apartment (we own the apartment building) so communication with us will be via text, phone, or email. Note that the other 4 apartments in the building are rented to long-term renters. Chestertown is a small, cute town of about 5,000 people located on the Chester River. There is no public transportation.
