Our inviting country farm setting is the perfect place to entertain or relax in the stillness of the big sky. Valley View Farm is an authentic working farm on 120 acres in Western Massachusetts designed to host weddings and family gatherings. Two homes are available for guests. The Apple House sits in an heirloom apple orchard. Reservations require a credit card on file as a security deposit. In the quaint village of Haydenville. Minutes from the Northampton line, You will feel as you are living country life to the fullest. Enjoy the sweeping lawns, perennial flower beds, mature heirloom apple trees, Goshen stone walls and patio. This property offers varied habitats for exceptional birding, and other wildlife viewing. Mature trees and vegetable gardens complete this landscape. The house has a lovely greenhouse and an expansive kitchen, leading to bright, open living and sitting upstairs; bath is a great mix of marble, tile and Marmoleum. All of the bedrooms are large and light filled. The house has beautiful American furniture and art. You will have to take common sense care of the antiques; no sweaty beer bottles on the antique tables. There are also "country antiques that have taken a century of wear and tear that you can be casual with. The farm hosts weddings and gatherings in the historical antique barns and event venue. It's possible that there will be events occurring during your stay. Along the beautiful Mill River you’ll discover organic gardens, ponds, orchards, pasture, woodland trails, friendly horses. We are available for questions, advice, and helping hands in the garden; weeding, feeding horses, bailing hay. The Apple House is absolutely stunning, in the quaint village of Haydenville.
