Peaceful stay on the river in Harmony, Maine

River front, year-round cabin set on 5 acres. This peaceful setting is appropriately located in Harmony, Maine. Very little river traffic makes for a peaceful, quiet canoe or kayak trip. Not to mention the fishing! Minutes from Great Moose Lake, Indian Pond and only about 90 minutes from Moosehead Lake, Acadia National Park and other excursions! Enjoy the wonders of Maine or enjoy the cabin with all the amenities of home. Beautiful, peaceful inside and out! This beautiful, modern cabin sits on 5 acres of wooded land with 310 feet of riverside property. The cabin, built in 1990, has everything you need (short of food) to keep you comfortable throughout the stay, without having to go anywhere. So, park your vehicle, hang up the keys and stay a while! Guests have access to the entire property, with the exception of the garage. Guests can self check in using the lock box (code provided prior to arrival). Nothing but trails, trees, rivers and lakes around here (well, a few other houses). This is Maine... no public transportation.. Best way to get around? Bring your ATV! The property is fitted with a pellet stove (instructions for use available), and a wall unit heater. Also, there is an automatic back up generator (self tests Sundays at 11am or 12pm), to ensure power and heat no-matter what the weather! Many phones will receive cell service in this area, but rest assured, we have wifi! There are steps headed to 2nd bedroom, but there is a bed and pull out couch downstairs for those that may not want to manage stairs.
