Little Chick Farm’s Airstream Dream is a 1969, nearly all original, silver beauty. The Dream overlooks Little Chick’s garden and hoophouse. Big windows bring in a nice breeze, the scent of flowering trees in the spring, and lots of natural sunlight. With a great deck and a fire pit out back, there’s plenty of opportunity for relaxation. Bring your marshmallows and a stack of books. Our small farm is a great place to getaway and enjoy nature and the crow of our tiny little Bantam rooster. This 1969 all original (except the carpet and upholstery) Airstream is a fun blast from the past. Surprisingly spacious, with a nice sized kitchen for making meals to eat in. There are two twin beds and a fold out sofa bed. The bathroom has both shower and a small tub. The large windows provide a great cross breeze. **There is no AC**, but we provide two fans and lots of outdoor space to relax! While we love this indoor space, our family capitalizes on outdoor space. You’ll find chairs around the fire for roasting weenies, a hammock for enjoying your stack of vacation reads, and a cafe table and chairs on the deck to sip coffee and watch the dew dry on the grass in the mornings. Enjoy an off-line getaway! 🌱 🌻 Guest are free to explore the property. Please enjoy these spaces. You’ll find several mowed trails through the property. If you’re looking for something with a bit more elevation and excitement, we’ve got trails up the hill and through the cedar forest into the hardwood forest near the top of the hill. Along the trails you’ll find wild red and black raspberries and wild strawberries, please enjoy them! You may also enjoy any tree fruit you come across! 🍎 🍏 This is a working farm, you’ll find chickens and ducks passing by, doing their thing! Which also means you may find a chicken patty here and there! And this year we have some new additions- Gregory and Mike, our Dwarf Nigerian Goats. Brace yourself for the cuteness. 🐐 And our three little pigs 🐖 🐖 🐖 who love any scraps you want to toss them! You’ll also see us around weeding, planting, sweating, feeding critters. We ask that you do not go into the barn, playhouse, chicken coop, or shed. Please message us with any questions you have if you don’t see us around the farm! We’ve got the coolest farm around- veggies, cut flowers, chicks, and two handsome, tubby goats. We might be biased, but you can walk to the ice cream shop and library from where we are. It’s less than a mile to town, where you’ll find Mammoth Distillery for the adults and Fudgees ice cream for the kids! Central Lake also has a great grocery store with just about everything you might need! When you pull into the driveway, you’ll see a little grassy turn out to the left, just before the field. Park right there, just down from the Airstream. Please take your shoes off on the rug inside the camper door. Help us keep our place nice! When you check out, just message us to let us know you are leaving. And please wash up any dishes you’ve used.
