The River House is all about location with this adorable chalet located one mile (2 min car ride!) from Mount Snow in West Dover, Vermont and only 20 minutes from Stratton Ski Resort. This is an amazing vacation rental for any season. In the winter, step out onto your front porch for beautiful and majestic views of Mount Snow. The 'Moover', which is the free transportation system, will pick you up close by the house! No need to even drive to the mountain! In spring and summer, enjoy the soothing sounds of the river that passes right under the deck off the back of the home. You can cool off and take a refreshing dip in the river, or at night, you can simply relax with friends near the fire pit in the yard, and use the gas grill on the deck overlooking the river. The autumn leaves put on a spectacular show, and the amazing hiking trails (within walking distance) are a simple way to enjoy the foliage. There are safe paths for rollerblading, running, or biking trails across the street from the home. The Valley Trails, Crosstown Trails, and Mount Snow trailheads are all very close to the house. Fine dining, casual dining, and nightlife are all within walking distance as well. So whether you're seeking a relaxing or adventure filled vacation, The River House is the perfect spot to be your home away from home! Great for couples, a group of friends or families. We also provide a canoe for your to use at the nearby lakes. Just bring some tie downs for your roof rack. This home is updated throughout! 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, Living room, Dining room, laundry and an additional living room/den/game room. First Bedroom: Queen bed Second Bedroom: Queen bed, Third Bedroom: 1 full/queen and 1 bunk with two twins Den: has a pull out couch that can sleep another 2 Living Room: Sectional and loveseat Sleeps 6-8 very comfortably in beds. Additional sleeping areas are downstairs den. Sorry no full season rentals. The longest consecutive rent we can accommodate is one month at a time. As we like to keep our home pristine and always maintain it once a month to keep it in tip top shape.
