Spacious RV with Lake/Dock access & Boat Rental

New 38' RV (Cedar Creek Champagne Edition) with access to beautiful lake Hartwell. Relax on owners’ dock and soak up some rays. Easy climb ladder and dock seat for swimming off of the lower level. Have lunch or dinner under the pergola on the upper level. For those daring souls, use the double jump gates to free fall into the cool water below. Boats are available for rentals at additional rates (23' pontoon or a 22' bowrider) Either boat is equipped with a tube and ski rope for added fun ! We offer boat rentals for guests to go out on their own. Rates are $225 for 1/2 day or $399 for full day. Fuel is included so no need to spend time going to the marina!! All boats have the appropriate gear mandated by DNR. For those who want to truly relax, we offer either boat and Captain (yours truly) to our guest as a package deal. Enjoy yourfavorite adult beverage without worry! Rates are $85/hr for 2 or 4 hours. A sunset cruise maybe? Guest have access to the entire dock. There is also a small Weber gas grill on the dock. Owners may access the dock for launching and storing their personal boat(s). When you arrive we do a tour of the RV to review features that are important for comfort and safety. Also, if weather permits we take you down to the dock and point out features that will make your dock usage pleasant. Our property is located very close to I-85. You will take the last (or first ! 😜) exit in GA. It is the Hartwell Exit number 177. We are located in a small cul de sac off of a dead end road about 3 miles from the interstate. The city of Lavonia is about 10 minutes away. The town has a beautiful square but only a few shops and restaurants there. A very popular lunch restaurant is called 211 Main Street and it is a Mennonite Bakery /restaurant. People drive for miles around to eat there as they serve fresh baked bread and scrumptious desserts! Unfortunately, they are only open for lunch Monday-Friday and they also do an evening meal on Fridays. Bella, Bella mozzarella is another downtown cafe we enjoy and they offer delicious lasagna and other specialty items. There are 2 coffee/sandwich shops: Vintage Cup and Sweet Combs of Honey. Near the Lavonia exit ( Exit 173) there are many more restaurants: Cracker Barrel, Shoney’s, Pizza Hut, Waffle House, LaCabana and J.Peters. These are available for dine in/carry-out and there are many Fast Food options: Dairy Queen, Zaxby’s, Chick Filet, Burger King, Hardee’s , Taco Bell, Papa John’s , Dunkin Donuts and McDonald’s. Groceries are available at Dill's (IGA). Their hours are 8am-9pm. Parking is available at the RV. We also have a Kawasaki Mule (side by side) for getting folks and gear to and from the dock. There are 3 kayaks that can be used to explore the lake ( no additional charge). A pontoon boat or bow rider is available for rent. No pets are allowed in the RV. A fire pit, grill and seating area that offers increased privacy and convenience is located at the front end of the RV. A wagon is also available for you to use during your stay. We often have "Happy Hour" between (5-7) on our deck (BYOB). Frequently some of our neighbors gather with us. Guests are welcome to join. Check with us to see what our plans are for your visit !
