Downtown Frederick Getaway

Historic district, private first floor apartment. Only the laundry room is shared but they don't come through and there are designated days. Excellent wi-fi connectivity. Photos don't do it justice, new paint in kitchen. King size bed, beautiful couch, large TV, kitchen complete with pots and pans, etc. Space is larger than it appears, and adjacent off-street parking. Large backyard, outdoor seating. We keep the space really clean and ventilate between guests. This house is in the historic district, just a few blocks from the heart of downtown but still quiet. Off-street parking on the property- a rarity in downtown Frederick!! Yard and furniture for outdoor dining, large space inside. House was built in 1925, has been lovingly renovated but still has old house charm. Owner lived in it and raised kids in it for 20 years, knows the neighbors- who are really nice. You'll have a completely private apartment with one bedroom and your own bathroom and kitchen, of course. You may also use the large back yard and the lawn furniture. Off street parking behind the house, but you can also park on the street in front if you like. Wifi and smart TV. You may use the laundry room, which is also used by second floor guests, but they have separate exterior entrance and designated days. I love making guests happy, text or call me anytime. I won’t show up unless you need me to :) Frederick restaurants are open especially for outdoor seating and carry-out! This is the city, and the property is on more of a working class block but perfectly safe. I raised my kids here. There is a public bus that goes right in front of the house, and the MARC station is about a mile away. If heavy snow predicted, I recommend parking in the deck on Church Street. There is an apartment above, but each apartment has separate entrances and there is a wonderful long-term and very quiet tenant on the second floor. She does use the same laundry room but has exterior access and cannot get into the Airbnb unit at all (and she wouldn't anyway :). There are 3-4 stairs to enter but none in the apartment, unless you need laundry. Please note: there is not a television in the bedroom.
