Lake Front Home! PEACEFUL AREA! Bring your boat! AMAZING 5 bedroom/5.5 bathroom home! With 5,300 square feet, there is room for your family and couples. Each bedroom has its own private bath. The main level has a cozy living room with floor to ceiling stone fireplace, vaulted ceilings and many windows with lake views. Peaceful cove with a large deck area near the water, and a private floating dock. Beautiful sunset views of the lake from all rooms. Book NOW! Spring and Summer are selling out! Great area for fishing, kayaking, floating, and paddle boarding (equipment provided by host with each booking). Water skiing in this area is great with a slalom course just around the bend. Off of the living room there is a spacious dining area and the updated kitchen. The master suite, large sun room and a half bath are on this level. The upper deck is huge and is a great spot to entertain! Upstairs is a loft area that overlooks the living room and 2 master suites. The terrace level has a living/rec room with a kitchenette, 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. There is beautiful custom woodwork all throughout this home. Out back is a covered patio area and a fire pit. If you have your own boat, there is room on the slip. Please notify the host if you plan to use it. Host and Ski Boat for hire! The woodsy, black-bear-themed house features 5 bedrooms, each with a private bathroom including a tub/shower combo. Three of these 5 bathrooms feature double sinks. Additionally, there is a half bath on the main level. Each bedroom has a view of the lake, so you can’t go wrong with your selection! Bring your friends and family, as this home sleeps up to 10 people comfortably, but can accommodate up to ~14 with couches, cot, futon, recliners, etc. The house consists of 3 levels, each one with plenty of seating (sofas, loveseats, comfy chairs, and recliners). The lower level includes a pinball machine, a pool table, and TVs, making it an ideal place for kids/teens to hang out! Should an emergency arise, the host will be available to assist. The house is 15-20 min to the main town of Wedowee where you can find a grocery store, liquor store, pharmacy, and some fast food spots. Only 5-10 min from a bait and tackle shop and gas station to fit your fishing and boating needs. Via boat, its 5-10 min from the marina and 24 hr public boat ramp. Gas available at the marina daily from 8am-5pm. While at the marina, enjoy Randy's on the River for excellent pizza. Hours vary, so be sure to call ahead. In the summer, the restaurant occasionally sponsors live music. Drive from house to marina is 12-15 min. Bring the whole crew! 5-6 cars can fit in the driveway. Due to dirt road conditions, SUV/Truck recommended. 4-wheel drive is not needed. Black Bear Lodge is located on a quiet, peaceful cove in the back of Triplett Creek in Jack’s Branch, near the marina on Highway 48 (~5 minutes by boat, ~12 minutes by car), with public lake access/boat ramp. The cove is perfect for water skiing! On most days, there is very little boat traffic, making for frequently smooth water, and there’s even a slalom ski course just around the corner (2-3 minutes boat drive) that avid skiers can take advantage of. There’s also great bass fishing right in the cove (bring your own pole and bait - and don’t forget your fishing license). We have two kayaks for your use, along with four comfortable raft loungers for floating. There are two deck areas (one on the house, and one closer to the water), and a large patio on the lower level. Each has lots of seating where you can take in the beautiful sunset colors on partly cloudy to clear days. The patio area also has a firepit - great for making s’mores or roasting hot dogs.
