Cozy Furnished 2 Bedroom Home Close to Steamboat

Located close to Steamboat Springs Ski Resort, in beautiful Oak Creek. Full of history, this little mining town has a museum, beautiful park with creek running through, multiple restaurants, an ice rink, grocery, drug, recreational stores and more. Great views and access to the Flat Top Wilderness, Stagecoach State Park, Routt MedBow, etc. You’ll love this place because of the location, the price and the comfort. The Home is good for couples, solo, families and furry friends (we accept pets). This house is unique, quirky and cozy. We boast a very large garden in front and back; complete with decks to relax and enjoy. Pets are allowed. We have two small connected bedrooms with a double bed in each. The property hosts over 100+ garden gnomes, so keep an eye out. You will have plenty of privacy, as no one else is on the property. We do not live at the house, but we do visit it often during the year, it being our family home for over 40 years. A manager lives nearby for assistance. We offer WiFi, satellite TV, electric blankets, breakfast snacks/coffee and creamer, cooking supplies and spices. The bathroom has a bathtub shower. Great for soaking in a comfortable hot bath with a book and some wine, but not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. The entire house and yards are for your enjoyment. The home boasts all the amenities you will need to cook, clean and be merry. Washer, dryer, full kitchen and basics stocked. BBQ, deck and chimenea in the spacious back garden. Max manages the rental and all reservations. He can be messaged 24/7 with questions. We have a cleaner who prepares the home and solves any immediate issues. We have an older neighbor gentleman who waters and mows the grass when the house is vacant and mid-day when guests are out. Oak Creek is a small quite town with a great character, parks, basketball and tennis courts, 4 eateries, a grocery store, drug store, great hiking and biking access, sledding hills, cross country ski track, baseball and softball fields and lots of small town feel. Access to steamboat, and surrounding recreational areas is ideal from our home. You can hike or walk around the entire town of Oak Creek to visit parks, businesses and restaurants. The house is a leisurely 20 minute drive to Steamboat Springs and it's world famous Steamboat Ski Resort. 15 minutes from the Little Flat Top wilderness and 20 minutes from Big Flat Top Wilderness and the Devil's Causway. 10 minutes from Stagecoach Reservoir State Park and Service Creek Wilderness. Restaurants, recreation and relaxation are all unique and located in town and nearby in steamboat. Yampa and the flat to wilderness area is close by, as well as stagecoach reservoir. Great fishing, hiking, rafting, kayaking and a great small town experience.
