Island Adventure Black Bird Cabin on Sharbot Lake

Welcome to the Black Bird Cabin, on Graceys Island in Sharbot Lake. This is an off grid cabin on an 11 acre island property. It's a hidden piece of natural paradise - full of old growth trees and wild life. Perfect for bird watching, canoeing and relaxing. Boat access only - A canoe is available! The cabin is located on a cliff and has a large cedar porch. Steps away there is a screened in deck where you can relax in the hammock overseeing the lake. Boat access required. A canoe and lifejackets are available if needed (free). It is an off grid cabin with no running water or electricity in the cabin. There is battery powered LED light, which can be recharged with a power bank. There is a kitchen equipped with all you need to cook up a sweet meal. The fire pit outside has a grill for wood fired BBQ. You have to bring your own drinking water. There is a beautiful outdoor shower between rocks and cedar trees. The toilet is an outhouse. The cabin sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults and children. The loft has a queen bed and we provide bedding. The sofa in the cabin folds also in a small bed. To access the cabin it is a 15 min paddle from an access property Sharbot Lake. There you can also park your car. The cabin is on a cliff / hill 80 meters from the dock. There is a second cabin on the island property, but out of sight. You will have the entire north part of the island for your self. BOAT ACCESS ONLY! A canoe is available if needed - included in the rental. In Sharbot Lake you will find everything you need to enjoy your stay.
