HEATED Pool Oasis for a work or play getaway!

NOTE: POOL IS ONLY OPEN FROM MID-APRIL THROUGH THE END OF SEPTEMBER!! Kick back at Woodbine Way for your private retreat and leave the worries of the city behind.  In the fall and winter, enjoy the cozy fireplace and in late spring and summer, enjoy the pool oasis! The house boasts three comfortable bedrooms with one and a half bathrooms.  A fully equipped kitchen, dining room and cozy living room with a fireplace.   Woodbine Way is your perfect getaway from the city at any time of the year. Only a 45 minute drive from NYC! It is the perfect house to get a change of scenery either for work or for play! Don't feel like cooking in the fully equipped kitchen or on the grill?  No worries.  You're just a short drive to pubs, restaurants, ice cream and shops. You will find various hiking trails just minutes from the house that can be enjoyed year round. The lower Hudson Valley is also full of wonderful, quaint towns full of great restaurants and local shops! Come explore and relax! In the late spring and summer months, the property turns into a Private Pool Oasis! Boasting a 16'x'32' in-ground pool that goes from 4' to 8' deep located in the fully gated private backyard. The pool is only available from mid-April through September (weather permitting). The pool is heated from Mid-April through June ONLY! It is heated to take the chill out of the water. It is not meant to be a hot tub. It is NOT heated in the months of July and August! In the month of September, it is only heated if the temperatures drop and at our discretion. We DO NOT allow day guests or parties of any kind. The large deck right off the back of the house is equipped with a 10'x12' gazebo with privacy panels and netting. In the gazebo you can relax on the comfy outdoor furniture and even turn on the lights located inside the gazebo to be able to enjoy well into the evening. There is also a grill right on the deck that may be used during your stay. It is tied into the main gas line so there is no need to worry about running out of gas! You will also find a table to seat four and four lounge chairs with umbrellas. Quiet hours are from 10:00pm through 7:00am. Please be sure to keep your noise levels down to comply with the local ordinance. While we do not provide floats, you are welcomed to bring your own! We provide you with an electric pump which you can use to inflate your floats and there is even an outlet located outside to make it easier! We simply ask that the floats are kept off the grass as they burn the grass if left for long periods. Some guests decide to leave behind floats...those are left for subsequent guests to enjoy. In the fall and winter, our guests enjoy cozying up to the fireplace with a good book or even just to watch a good movie on the 60" tv above the fireplace. The huge window in the living room is conducive to watching the changing of the leaves and their beautiful flare as they fall to the ground. The snow is just as mesmerizing! If you're lucky, you'll even catch the local family of deer grazing on the front lawn! Access to entire property with the exclusion of basement and garage. Pool is only available from mid-April through September (weather permitting). Outdoor seating setup is also taken down during the winter months. There is NO access to laundry on the premises. However, there is a laundromat with drop off service right down the road. We supply guests with the keycode for the door to the house so we will have little or no contact with guests but will be available should the guests have any issues or need anything. This retreat is located in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood conducive to afternoon strolls.   In addition, the house is approximately 1/4 mile from Main street in New City with great restaurants, pubs and shops. Just a short drive to apple orchards, hiking trails and even close to skiing/tubing. About 15 minutes away from the Palisades Mall and Garden State Plaza which most guests find perfect for rainy days! On your nicer days, we are located just 25 minutes from Woodbury Commons Premium Outlets and Bear Mountain. There is a long enough driveway for three cars to park. Guests vehicles must be parked in the driveway only. There is a maximum number of SIX (6) guests total allowed at the house. We are trying to be respectful of our neighbors and we want everyone to be safe as they enjoy their stay in our home! We do NOT allow any parties or events. We have cameras monitoring the outside of the home. Should we see more than 6 guests entering, you will be asked to vacate the premises immediately! Due to some unfortunate events, we have had to add a cleaning fee to our listing. Regardless, we do require that you leave the house exactly how you found it and follow the check-out checklist. We work hard to make sure we leave our home clean and comfortable for your stay. We simply ask that you take care of it as if it were your own! If you are not willing to leave our home the way you found it, this rental is not for you! We are also one of the very few pet friendly properties because our fur babies are also part of the family! However, we do charge a one-time pet fee of $50 as it does take more time to clean after our fur babies. Please disclose if you will be bringing a pet(s) with you and we will send a separate request once we accept your request!
