My home is 10 minutes from the airport and west county, and 15 minutes from downtown. A very convenient central location in the heart of the city!. You’ll love my place because of the people and the neighborhood. This is a safe neighborhood with friendly neighbors. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends (pets). Value accommodations for someone just needing a place to crash for the night or for longer term guests. I have converted the back half of my living room into a semi-private bedroom for Airbnb guests. It is dedicated private guest space separated from the rest of the home by room divider curtains. The only difference between this and a regular bedroom is that there are curtains rather than a wall and door. The bed is an air-mattress on top of a pull-out sofa (and the sofa mattress) so the bed itself is pretty comfortable. Your room includes the bed, a dresser, nightstand (stocked with water bottles and disposable earplugs), alarm clock, power station, trash bin, another table, wardrobe closet with hangers, and extra blankets (upon request). I offer self check-in so you can check-in anytime on your own. The front door features a professional electronic keypad entry lever for guest privacy and security. Guests have access to any of the common areas of the house (kitchen, living room, laundry room downstairs:free access to washer and dryer and free detergent!). Free printing is available for guests. Message me for instructions on how to set it up! Free complimentary breakfast is also available for guests. Help yourself to anything out on the kitchen counter. Selections of cereal, poptarts, coffee, oatmeal, milk (in the fridge). While I prefer to be a "hand-off" host, I can be as involved or as uninvolved in your stay as you'd like. I live in a bedroom on the same floor as this listing and am home every night. I am available by phone anytime if you have any questions or any issues arise. I am happy to offer any advice on restaurants, shopping, getting around St Louis, Metro scheduling etc. My home is the historic University City neighborhood; one of St Louis's first suburbs! It is quite safe, clean, and well kept for a St Louis neighborhood. My favorite place to grab breakfast or brunch is the Olivette Diner. Its about 5 min away from my home and has their famous "grand slam" which features a large portion of eggs, cheese, and meat! For lunch or dinner, I recommend IMO's pizza. Its unique to St. Louis and very tasty! There is plenty of free parking on the street in my front yard. You can get anywhere in the city with a car from my home within 20 minutes. Also, Metro system is very convenient and can get you most places in the greater metro area from my home in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) min. Routes are frequent during the weekdays (every 15 min) and weekends (every 30 min) and reliable. Uber is also a great option! Super convenient for anywhere anytime of the day and night. (Hidden by Airbnb) "Uber St Louis" to look up fare estimates for me area. I have one other 1-person bedroom on the same floor as this listing and occasionally have other guests in there from time to time. I offer big discounts for weekly and monthly guests because I prefer longer term guests but am open to anyone with any travel needs.
