Ashland Castle

This historical home was built in 1896 and was originally located on Winchester Ave. In 1919, it was moved two blocks away by oxen and rollers and only 2 dishes broke during transport! There are beautifully stained glass windows in front foyer in main entrance, many large rooms w/ pocket doors and the woodwork is incredible. First floor has a half bath and is full of entertainment. 2nd floor is your living room, large kitchen, full bath and master bedroom. 3rd floor has a full bath & 4 bedrooms. The rooms are very spacious in this home! You can spend hours in the billiard room, playing cards, chess or checkers and dont forget the ping pong table! There is a deck on 2nd floor where you can sit and relax or read a book from the small library on 2nd floor living room. A lot to enjoy without even going anywhere! We have 2 laundry rooms, one on 1st floor and one on 2nd floor. There is an additional shower in large 1st floor laundry room You can reach us anytime as we want you to have a great stay 😊 The home is located in walking distance to many different attractions. Central Park is one block away with surrounding neighboring Historic homes. The Paramount Arts Theater, Starbucks, and many other different restaurants are within blocks, Blazers has live music Friday & Saturday nights 6-12 pm and only 1/2 block away! If you like shopping, there are many different shops to walk to, including the Ashland Mall, and soo much more! Enjoy a walk to the Ohio River, fish or go on a boat cruise! Lots to enjoy and many festivities year round! If your looking for a massage therapist, or a hair salon, Identity is 3 blocks away and you wont be disappointed! There is front street parking and two (2) driveways to accommodate guests!. There is a hot tub in large laundry room on 1st floor.
