Cedar Point Whippoorwill Village Cabin 3

Whippoorwill is a beautiful rustic village tucked into the woods. There are 5 cabins available in the village, a covered pavilion with fireplace, BBQ grill, a propane single burner stove, and a campfire circle. You'll have full run of the entire camp property including Little Grassy Lake, a 1200 acre jewel and the 257 acres of Camp Cedar Point located in the beautiful Crab Orchard Wildlife Refuge. Guests should bring their own food and cooler. Guests have access to our entire camp property. Take out a canoe on the majestic 1200 acre Little Grassy Lake, hike our trails, up your game on our basketball court, shoot a round of frisbee golf, and explore all the wonderful state parks, lakes, and all the amenities of Southern Illinois. I am always available by phone. Our caretaker Chad who lives on site is available as well. The Crab Orchard Wildlife Refuge is a Southern Illinois gem. We are about 20 minutes from Giant City State Park, Carbondale, and Marion. Makanda is an eclectic little town with cool gift shops, restaurants, and the famed "secret garden." Camp Manitowa-Cedar Point has a paved road from the front of main camp all the way down to the lake. Guests are welcome to drive or bike around. We'll supply guests with a map that outlines hiking trails, camp villages in the woods with covered pavilions and fire pits, and other buildings on site.
