Romance and solitude in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains! Located midway between the towns of Staunton and Lexington, the Pond View Cabin is 700 sq feet of country seclusion including a king size bed, double Jacuzzi tub, gas fireplace, WiFi, flat screen TV with Direct TV service, cell phone reception, and an outdoor gas grill. Designed as a romantic retreat for two, it has a king bed and a fully equipped kitchen. A private hot tub sits on the back deck overlooking a fishing pond and rolling meadows beyond. Take in the peace and quiet while relaxing in the hot tub on a covered private deck. Max occupancy is 2 adults. No children, no pets, no smoking please. Pond View cabin is located on our 50 acre property and is accessed by a private drive. Pond View cabin is about 50 yards from the Manor house but is separated by landscaping and trees giving guests complete privacy. It is the only cabin on our private fishing pond. Guests have access to the entire cabin except for the housekeeping closet which is locked. Guests also have full access to the Manor grounds including the fire pit, pool, stream, pond, and walking trails. Steeles Tavern Manor is a bed and breakfast with 4 cabins in addition to the 100 yr old Manor with 5 guest rooms. We live on the property and are available if needed. We respect your privacy and you won't see us unless you need us. Just 1.5 miles from the interstate, we are centrally located near many areas of the Shenandoah Valley. We are 6 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway & 12 miles from Crab Tree Falls. Situated midway between Staunton & Lexington each about 20 minute drive. Numerous wineries, breweries & cideries are all a short drive away. 1 hour from Charlottesville. No public transportation is available. Max occupancy is 2 adults No visitors/guests No pets No children No parties or events No Smoking, there is a $250 recovery fee charged to any guests smoking in the cabin. Taxes collected at time of reservation are: Virginia State tax (4.3%), County tax (10%), and Local tax (1%). Breakfast at the Inn is not included.
