The UPB - The Loft (unique, cozy, and private)

The Loft at The UPB provides a unique, cozy and private experience in a barn loft. Our barn is 'western modern'. Patterned after an old historic barn in the Antelope Flats area near Grand Teton, it is gorgeous! Note: If you have a larger group requiring more rooms, we have private rooms in the main house listed as well. It is only a short walk from our barn. If needed, please feel free to check out those listings to check availability. Included in The Loft is a kitchenette and bathroom on the main floor of the barn. You also have access to the main floor of the barn and patios off both the front and back of the barn. During large events such as the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, we include options for RV and trailer space to accomodate more guests. We are happy to answer any questions about these options. Ample parking is adjacent to the barn. The Black Hills has some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere. Tons of activities await...like hiking, biking, motorcycling, rock climbing, ATV'ing, splunking, fishing, hunting, kayaking, boating, swimming, Mt. Rushmore, Sturgis, Deadwood, The Badlands, Custer State Park, exploring old mines, local breweries and eateries, Spearfish Canyon, camping and much more. And, we are close to it all! - We are 25 minutes from the airport. - There are numerous rental car options at the airport, and in Rapid City. - Lyft and Uber are available. Note: To access the loft, guests must climb a ladder. The ladder is solid and works well, but can be challenging for some, depending on your physical abilities. This Suite is not suited for small children or those at any age who are infirm. You will have to decide if this Suite is right for you, and if so, use this space and the ladder at your own risk. Note: The barn has a fireplace both inside and outside the barn. It also has a firepit outside. Because there is almost always the risk of forest fires you are not allowed to use these facilities or start a fire without the express permission of your host. Thank you.
