Click "Read more" below. The property is on Blue Creek. Bring your boat and dock it behind the house. It is a three mile drive on a well maintained dirt road in the Ocala National Forest. This is a property for fishermen, kayakers, bird watchers, hikers, and nature lovers of all kinds. There is boat ramp near. The scenic view is just out your front bay window of the pristine Blue Creek. It is a large creek (100 feet across in front of the house) with Ocala National Forest as the opposite shore. Every morning the wild turkeys fly from their roost into the yard. Bring your boat or come by boat! Boat ramp access is just a block away. The property has: Private Boat Dock Boat-Trailer Parking Ocean Access Overnight Docking Max Length: 20 ft Max Beam: 8 ft Max Draw: 2 ft You'll have complete access to the house and two bedrooms. The master bedroom and bath contain personal stuff and will be locked. There is an boathouse/garage that is not included in the offering as it is not yet ready for guests. For your safety we ask you not to enter these areas. Our property hosts live beside the boat ramp a block away. We are always available for emergencies but normally you will be left on your own unless you contact us. This home is for nature lovers and those who appreciate the quiet of nature. It is secluded but not isolated. (There is a small community that lives here.) If you can entertain yourself and enjoy doing so then this is a place for you free of the normal distractions of the busy world. It is ideal for fishing, boating, bird watching, nature hikes, and the like. So bring your boat and come enjoy the REAL Florida. Property is accessible by car or boat. There is no public transportation, period. They will eat your pet. Second thing to understand that the property is located at the end of a 3 mile dirt road that is maintained by the county. Normally a 2WD is adequate but during times of excessive rain a 4WD vehicle is required. Rainy season in Florida is from May through October (and whenever there's a tropical storm). Please cancel your reservation if a tropical storm is approaching. Third thing to know is that cell phone service is spotty and Internet access is unavailable. Broadcast TV is provided.
