Hike [most of] the Mohonk preserve, or even better, use our canoe and launch right off our lawn! Enjoy an old home recently modernized right on a beautiful creek off the Hudson in an incredibly vibrant area upstate - the Hudson Valley and the foot of the Catskills. Only 3 miles to the city of Kingston with boutique shopping, [social distance compliant] restaurants and bars (you can even take an Uber), you won't run out of things to do. The whole house is yours to enjoy, except for our closets. And of course the water is yours to canoe in. I've become quite knowledgable about this area and I'm happy to offer up recommendations for food, drinks, nature, antiques and what not. I may not be here in person to greet you (from six feet away and with a facemask) but there is keyless entry. You're only a few miles from Kingston, Rosendale, and few more miles from Woodstock, New Paltz and Rhinebeck. Basically, you're close to everything and yet quietly situated on the water. We highly recommend a car, but you can take a bus to Kingston or Metro North to Poughkeepsee or Amtrak to Rhinecliff and then a cab. Uber to Kingston is around $11. There is a deli and a restaurant with outdoor seating in walking distance. We have a canoe on the property that you can use if the water level is high enough.
