Cozy 500 sq ft cottage located in the woods on our 7 acres of private property. Easy to isolate yourself and your family with a private drive, private entrance and no close neighbors. The cottage is a studio style, with a full kitchen, full bath and porches. Very quiet and peaceful, 1/4 mi off of the main road and tucked away to ensure your privacy. Approximately 5 miles northwest of Milton, Florida and only 5 miles from NAS Whiting Field. The cottage is located on 7 acres of private property, approximately 300 feet (through the woods) from the owner’s main house. Guests will enjoy exclusive use of entire cottage and surrounding, wooded area. Access to this rustic cottage is via a private, gated drive 1/4 mile off the main street. We offer self check in and check out using a lockbox containing key access to the cottage. Owners live right on the property so someone will normally be available to guests and will be able to address all concerns. We do also offer self check in and check out using a lockbox to obtain access to the cottage key. Close enough to help out, but far enough to ensure you have privacy and to minimize person-to-person contact. Location is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the big city and close enough to enjoy historical Pensacola, Pensacola Beach, Naval Air Station Pensacola, the home of the Blue Angels and the National Naval Aviation Museum. Nearby attractions are endless with Mobile, Alabama approximately 60 miles away, Biloxi, Mississippi 130 miles, Montgomery, Alabama 140 miles, Tallahassee 178 miles and New Orleans 210 miles away. Uber and Lift are available if you need transportation. Owners are avid motorcycle enthusiasts and could be available to lead a ride to a requested location if prearranged. Most success in finding the cottage is achieved by looking for the address on the mailbox versus using GPS once you are on Pine Blossom Road. Look for the PINK gate (lift and pull gate outward) and the three BLACK Bears. Cottage is straight ahead and through the path with the RED/BLUE reflectors. Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra steps to clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces between reservations. I follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights: -I sanitize high touch services, down to the door knob -I use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination -I clean each room using extensive cleaning checklist -I provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay if desired -I comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines
