The Captains Quarters NEW

Newly Renovated back to it's original beauty. This stunning home overlooking the Hudson River once belonged to a steamboat Captain in the late 1700's. To this day it remains a lovely place with breathtaking views. The home is filled with history, but we have filled it with modern conveniences and luxuries like a soaking tub, culinary equipped kitchen & gas fireplaces. A perfect place to be enjoyed and gather with family and friends. Stay, relax, enjoy the fresh air and beautiful sunsets. The home is currently is fully furnished with all things our guests will need for their stay including STRONG WIFI, fresh air and stunning views over the Hudson River. We provide bottles of water for our guests arrival as well as various snacks. Our co-host Sandra will be our guests main contact and will send all instructions and information needed for your stay before your check in date. The home is located on a road that runs from Albany to Hudson making access to either and all in between including Kinderhook, Valatie and Chatham very easy. It is also near Schodack Landing Park, a wonderful place for a hike, fishing and picnics. Bike enthusiasts will have a wonderful time journeying throughout the many country roads. Cars are best for longer trips, and we do have Uber, and Lyft available in the area. pets are now allowed at this time.
