Strawberry Hill Cabins at Long Lake, NY is located in the heart of the Adirondack Park. Long Lake is 90 minutes from Lake George and an hour from Lake Placid & Old Forge. The Adirondack state park is the largest state park in the continental US, offering fresh air & wide open spaces. Some adventures are hiking, paddling, fishing and other outdoor activities. The cabin is just steps away from the water on the north end of the lake and is located on a private gravel driveway. Cozy cabin with screened porch for those buggy Adirondack nights or enjoy yourself on the deck with picnic table and Adirondack chairs. Open floor plan with kitchen or even better a charcoal grill just off the deck steps away (We will provide the charcoal for your stay). Large picture windows give you views of the lake to relax or plan your day trips to multiple hiking trails. The master bedroom has a private door out to the deck as well as a picture window & skylight. Comforter & pillows, toilet paper, paper towels, soap & cleaning supplies are provided - linens & towels available upon request. New for 2022 season we've added a electric fireplace & TV for your enjoyment. There is parking for 2 cars a few yards away from cabin. Should you bring your boat, the town launch is less than 3 miles away. Happy to provide a space for your trailer during your stay. We are on property and here to ensure your stay is enjoyable. Guests who stay 7 nights or longer will be offered (weather permitting) a complimentary boat ride on Long Lake all you have to do is ask. We are minutes from the center of town. Local attractions include the town beach, Buttermilk Falls, tennis & basketball courts and multiple hiking trails. Local restaurants are; Adirondack Hotel, The Cellar, Long Lake Diner & the Long View Lodge. In addition for groceries there is Northern Borne, Hoss's Country Corner & Stewarts. If you love the outdoors and privacy this is a perfect vacation place. Maximum of 4 people. No more than 2 daytime guests NO OVERNIGHT GUESTS - Any guests beyond the number listed on your itinerary will be charged a penalty at $50 per person per night. We reserve the right to terminate your stay without refund if you exceed the maximum occupancy of 4 people. July & August minimum stay is 7 nights with saturday only check in. Other months are 3 night minimums. Depending on water level there will be either a private or shared dock steps from your cabin.
