Family Farm at the foothills of the Blue Ridge

We are a Christian, family run farm with horses, chickens, goats and a donkey. We enjoy giving our guests a taste of farm life and want to offer various farm experiences to anyone interested, from milking a goat to collecting eggs to riding horses or just enjoying the peaceful atmosphere or observing the animals. There are also many close by activities to enjoy such as antique shopping, hiking, visits to wineries and breweries, equestrian events at TIEC or FENCE, live music, festivals, etc.... We are set at the foothills of the Blue Ridge with a beautiful view of the mountain range in a quiet country setting. The space is the entire lower level of our house with your own separate entrance. You can either take advantage of our farm setting, or enjoy our lively patio, or the pool. You will have as much privacy as you would like or we will be happy to interact with you and show you around as well as offer you some unique farm experiences. We also will offer you advice on local restaurants, produce stands, farmers markets, grocery stores, and activities nearby. We have a few farm products for sale also during various times of the year. Please feel free to ask. Pool Gardens Fire pit Areas around the farm (please do not enter the pastures without permission) We love meeting our guests but understand that there are times when you just need to keep to yourselves. Please text us with your questions or call us. There is a small neighborhood behind us with a quiet hilly street to walk or bike on. It is very shaded and the neighbors are very friendly. This area is known for its friendly roads for bikers. There is no public transportation near. Open communication always works best so if you have any concerns or questions, please let us know. We want you to enjoy your time here. We are a working farm, so we are not wearing masks or practicing social distancing, but if you would prefer to wear a mask and practice social distancing from us, we will be supportive. We no longer allow pets to be brought in the Airbnb. If you have children under the age of 9, please do not allow them to be at the pool or at the barn or pastures unattended.
