Rustic Adirondack Cabin

Rustic Adirondack cabin with a porch measuring 11’x16’. Main cabin is 11’x12’. This cozy cabin sits on 12 wooded acres with a babbling brook. Cabin sits approximately 100’ off the paved road with plenty of parking with a short pathway to the cabin. Cabin is insulated and equipped with a composting toilet. No electricity or running water. We are located within a mile from a local store. The cabin is equipped with a small propane heater, propane lights, propane fridge and a two burner stove. Cabin is located in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. There is thousands of acres of state land located within minutes of our location which has miles of marked trails for your enjoyment Lake Champlain is located only minutes away with a state boat launch. Cabin is equipped with a unique space saving table. Cabin has a futon that will sleep 2. Upper full sized loft that is accessed by a wooden ladder for a additional sleeping area and is equipped with a removable safety railing. The upper bunk has a thin foam mattress only. The cabin has a small 4' covered porch with chairs. Cabin sits within 70’ from the bank of Mill Brook, which has a sandy small private beach. This beach has a portable fire pit with Adirondack chairs. We also have hammocks available for your use. There is also a fire pit closer to the cabin. Wood can be purchased for $10 per cube. Money can be left in the jar in the cabin labeled "wood". There is also a picnic table along with a small outdoor kitchen with a small built in cooler, small gas grill and two burner stove that is stored in cabinet of the kitchen. You will also find pots, pans and cooking utensils stored in totes underneath. Outdoor lighting provided by oil lanterns. If you would like to secure your items in the cabin please bring your own padlock. We can provide propane cylinders at $6 each or bring your own. The shooting of any firearm or fireworks is prohibited on the property. No defacing of our beautiful trees or littering please!! There is a beautiful Spring located just minutes away and is located at the beginning of the Tracy road which is route 6 in Witherbee Ny. All you would need to bring is the following: Bedding/linens Water Camp chairs Flashlight Cell service is unavailable at the cabin but can be accessible within a few 100’ on the main road in either direction. Maximum guests is 4 Absolutely no smoking in the cabin. No pets No parties, please!! Would like to meet the guests upon arrival to discuss details about your safe and enjoyable stay. We live with in 3 miles of the cabin if needed. Otherwise your privacy will be respected. We are available for recommendations of area attractions. Cabin is in a quiet area and is located within a mile of a local deli/ convenience store and gas station. No public transportation.
