White Tail Tent at Rusty's Roost River Camp

Located alongside the North Toe River, this beautiful camping rental makes the perfect glamping escape! The 16x20 tent offers 2 Queen beds and a futon. Each tent has solar and battery lighting system. Glampers will enjoy cozy linens and furnishings, plenty of privacy, and close access to the shared facilities on-site which include Men and Women restrooms with hot water showers. Guests can park their vehicle right behind the tent. Great for romantic weekends or a family trip! There are 6 total tents available for rent. Most are set up with a Queen bed but can sleep up to 16 cots if needed. **There is an active train track on site.** Kids love it and some days it doesn't come through. Some days 1-3 times. There is no schedule. I've asked.** All tents are about 20feet from the river bank. You can literally see fish from the tent deck in the crystal clear water. Great for fishing, tubing, kayaking, floating, or just wading in the water. Available through text or phone at anytime. Cohost is on site at all times. Firewood, Charcoal, and Ice available for purchase. Again, There is an active train track on site. Of 100+ campers so far, only one person has mentioned it negatively. Kids absolutely love it!! OC Whitson General Store is right over the bridge. Just a couple of minutes from the campsites. They have a large variety of stuff to choose from. Campsites are right on the North Toe River. There are two different tube and kayak rental Companies within 15 minutes. Small restaurants in Burnsville as well as an Ingles Grocery Store which has everything you would need.
